The secret of the flat bottom boat.
At high speed only 18 inches of the back of the boat
was touching the water.

The same boat with steering wheel at Kinsley Lake South
of Tucson 1959. 35 years later ( 1995 ) the film " Boys On
The Side " was filmed there at the Steer Head Bar with
Whoopi Goldberg and Drew Barrymore.
Lynn Lesemann appeared in the film.
The lake is no longer there.
